All BUNKS-N-US beds come with bunky boards made from 3/4" thick cabinet-grade plywood. They are screwed to cleats on the bed rails. There is no stronger mattress support system available. Also, Full and larger beds come with 2x4 cross braces under the bunky boards. Safety comes First!
